Patricia M. Douglas Obituary

Patricia Mae Douglas, was born November 3, 1946 Orangeburg County, Bowman SC. Daughter of the late Clarence Lewis Brandyburg and Rosa Claire Brandyburg. Patricia departed this earthly life on Saturday February 14, 2026 at the Jolly Acres Nursing Home.
Patricia was a graduate of Bethune Memorial High School, Bowman SC class of 1963. She also, attended Claflin College in Orangeburg, SC.
Patricia was a member of Pineville United Methodist Church where she learned the meaning of Pray, Faith Belief in God. While at Pineville United Methodist
Church she was a member of the gospel choir. Years later she was affiliate with other churches in the Orangeburg area, but Pineville was more than just a place to worship it was where she felt protected, welcomed, and deeply at peace.
Patricia worked at Orangeburg, Calhoun, Allendale, Bamberg know as (OCAB) for several years. During her life as she continued to work manufacturing (Sun Printing, WB Enterprise and Golden Kernel Pecan Company) where she was reliable, had a strong work ethic and that friendly nature. Her final place of employment was at Pruitt Health, Orangeburg, SC where she continue to serve others with compassion and dedication.
She was married to the late William Douglas.
Patricia was a member of VFW Ladies Auxiliary where she held the position as Secretary. Because of the position she held provided her with opportunity to travel and expand her horizon around many States and participate in meeting and ceremonies. Because of this she gained the love for Red and Ladybug that she started her own collection.
Patricia is preceded in death by her loving parents, Mr. & Mrs. Clarence (Rosa Claire) Brandyburg, along with her brother Clarence Benjamin Brandyburg.
Patricia leaves to cherish her memories by her brothers Bernard (Helen) Brandyburg of Atlanta, Ga., Woody Brandyburg and Reginald Brandyburg, both of Bowman,SC her sisters Wyonia Brandyburg of Columbia, SC and Teresa(Robert) Randolph of Florence, SC. Her beautiful nieces Keisha Brandyburg and Lisa Douglas Rachelle, her handsome nephews Coby Brandyburg, Justin Willard, R. Jamar Randolph, Jerry Randolph and Jakobi Randolph. A host of wonderful cousins, other relatives and special friends.

The service will proceed as follows: 

The viewing will be held on Thursday, February 19,2026 at Glover's Funeral Home from 1:00pm until 6:00pm. 

The funeral will be held on Friday, February 20,2026 at Glover's Funeral Home beginning at 12:00noon.
